Responsibilities
As an Executive, Intellectual Property, you will be involved in a range of responsibilities related to the management of intellectual property (IP) residing within the Curriculum Planning & Development Division (CPDD) and the Educational Technology Division (ETD). Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice pertaining to the creation, ownership, protection and exploitation of IP to be produced, procured or licensed for use by MOE
- Developing, reviewing and recommending of policies and guidelines for the creation, ownership, protection and exploitation of CPDD & ETD Intellectual Property
- Working closely with MOE Legal Services, and external agencies such as Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), and the Copyright Licensing and Administration Society of Singapore (CLASS)
Requirements
- A good university degree and an aptitude for systems and processes
- Work experience, preferably related to the field of IP management / IP law, would be useful
- Possess or demonstrate some understanding of or interest in IP law, copyrights, trademarks, patents and regulatory practices
- Good communication skills with a strong command of the English language
- Enjoy working in a team environment and prepared to undertake leadership roles when called upon
