Responsibilities
To develop and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based preschool curriculum for young children following the guidelines set forth in the MOE Kindergarten Framework and Curriculum Guide. The Kindergarten Teacher / Senior Teacher will also assist the Kindergarten principal in mentoring teacher trainees and in the kindergarten operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

To develop and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based preschool curriculum for young children following the guidelines set forth in the MOE Kindergarten Framework and Curriculum Guide.
To document and prepare progress reports on children's development.
To identify, guide and counsel children with various learning difficulties.
To maintain regular and open communication with parents regarding children's development.
To train and mentor TP students assigned to the laboratory school (kindergarten) and develop materials for teacher training.
To mentor a team of early childhood teachers in designing and implementing developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based preschool curriculum for pre-schoolers (Senior Teacher).
To assist the Kindergarten Principal in the management and other administrative duties associated with the operation of the kindergarten (Senior Teacher).

Requirements

At least a relevant diploma that is recognised by Pre-school Qualifications Accreditation Committee (PQAC) with relevant preschool teaching experience.
Strong commitment to high quality early childhood education.
Strong organisation, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using interactive digital media for teaching and learning.
