Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be actively involved in setting up the full accounts and implementation of the financial system of a new business unit, including developing financial policies, accounting/business processes and internal controls. Subsequently, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the Accounts Payable functions, vendor contract management and staff claims & advances. You will also be required to provide support in annual business plan, budgeting and forecasting process; and be responsible for statutory reporting requirements in compliance with the Companies Act, the Charities Act and the Financial Reporting Standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy from a recognized university
• 3 years of relevant working experience
• Work experience in charting workflows, refining work processes and procedures to enhance internal controls and improve efficiency will be added advantage.
• Mature, meticulous and a good team player.
