Responsibilities

• Monitor international trends in nutrition, conduct periodic review of scientific evidence, identify developments relevant to Singapore and propose areas of work or modifications that need to be made to existing areas.
• Draft public policy documents, hold dialogues with relevant stakeholders and advise management on policy and programme decisions
• Formulate evidence-based dietary guidelines and nutrition recommendations
• Maintain databases that direct HPB’s nutrition related policy

Requirements

• A good Honours degree in Nutrition
• 3-5 years of working experience in the food and nutrition field
• Strong conceptual & analytical thinking skills
• Good writing skills
• Good evaluation and analysis skills, proficient in using statistical applications such as SPSS
• Must be a team player with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently
