The Singapore Medical Council (SMC), a statutory board under the Ministry of Health, that maintains the Register of Medical Practitioners in Singapore, administers the compulsory continuing medical education (CME) program and also governs and regulates the professional conduct and ethics of registered medical practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Screens applications for medical registration for evaluation
• Responsible for medical registration of doctors
• Provides Secretariat support to Credentials Committee
• Prepares medical registration statistics
• Handles general enquiries related to medical registration
• Performs counter duty whenever required

Requirements

• Diploma with at least 5 years of working experience in administrative field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Proactive, meticulous and ability to multi-task
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
