The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore’s national land use planning and conservation agency now seeking creative architect to join, Career Goverment Singapore 2011. URA’s mission is “to make Singapore a great city to live, work and play in”.

Responsibilities

• You will be involved in a variety of works which includes project management of environmental improvement projects from inception to construction stage, manage external design consultants, drafting and vetting of technical specifications, manage Building Contracts and supervise the physical implementation of environmental improvement proposals to ensure quality outcomes. You should have a good knowledge of planning and building regulations and its applications. Experience in environmental design/masterplanning will be an added advantage.

Requirements

•  A good degree in architecture
•  At least 2 years of experience in the field of design and project management of large scale building projects
•  Experience in environmental design/masterplanning will be an added advantage.
•  Excellent design and analytical skills
•  Good writing, presentation and communication skills
•  Quick learners with a high level of commitment will have an advantage
•  Ability to work independently as well as in a team is a must
•  Registered/Able to register with the Board of Architects Singapore
•  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
