Responsibilities

  • You will plan and implement schemes and initiatives that enhance students’ appreciation and engagement in the arts across a variety of school levels and student profiles. This includes encouraging and facilitating schools’ efforts to develop a sustained approach to arts education through various initiatives, awards and schemes.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Work with artists/educators to select, develop and/or assess suitability of arts educational programmes to develop students’ interest in the arts
  • Encourage and facilitate schools’ efforts to develop a sustained approach to arts education through various initiatives, awards and schemes
  • Coordinate and implement training programmes to improve quality of arts instruction by artists and/or teachers
  • Facilitate and manage survey and research initiatives to advocate best practices and importance of arts education

Requirements
  • Good degree with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the arts and/or arts education
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Creative and passionate about the arts
  • Able to work well independently, as well as a team player
  • Good team spirit and strong customer orientation
  • Some experience working with students and/or with arts educators
  • Clear perspective of Singapore’s educational landscape
  • Knowledge in arts pedagogy will be an added advantage
