Responsibilities

• You will lead the publicity team in the execution of external publicity programmes and be responsible to plan and implement communication strategies to promote DSTA. You will be responsible for handling media queries, drafting of media releases. You will also provide advice on strategic communications and develop speech strategies. You will need to recognise potential issues and provide support in reputation management as well as develop and maintain good relationships with the media and oversee media monitoring.

Requirements

• A good degree with more than 10 years of working experience in corporate communications.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess knowledge and skills in media management.
• Able to work with people at all levels of the business.
• Be a self starter with a strong drive to succeed.
• Knowledge of and experience in the area of science and technology will be an added advantage.
