Responsibilities

You will be working with various business units within the Board to understand their business objectives – who they wish to reach out to, what they wish to communicate. You will be responsible for shaping the digital communications strategy, identifying the most effective ways to reach the target audience after understanding the media consumption habits of the target audience, overlaid with the business objectives of reaching out to this audience.

You will play a lead role in working with the digital agency to execute the content and user experience delivery based on the communications strategy, with a focus on digital mediums – websites, social media, mobile platforms and digital media buys (not limited to display, search and content targeting). You will need to take into consideration cross-platform content integration to ensure that the synergies between the platforms are fully leveraged. You will also need to play a lead role in driving the analysis of all the Board’s campaigns across multiple platforms – search, display, social, website, CRM and mobile.

You are also to work with digital and media agencies to develop dashboards for management reporting, ensuring sufficient quantitative and qualitative analysis, supported with relevant recommendations. As a digital and emerging touchpoint specialist, you are required to educate and augment expertise across digital and emerging media among colleagues from other business units. You are required to keep abreast with developments in the digital and emerging media space and recommend communication approaches that will help optimise the efficiency of the Board’s communications.

Requirements
You should have a degree from a recognised university in Business, Marketing, Journalism or Media. A combination of agency and client side experience in marketing, totalling at least 5 years is preferred.
You should be an avid user of digital platforms (not limited to the world wide web, social media, mobile), understand the user behaviour and social norms of usage of each platform in depth, and have the passion for leveraging these platforms to meet business objectives. You should have experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns, understanding the importance of integration across mediums, and possess the ability to decipher between the roles of various mediums in the suite of marketing communications.
You should have specific experience involving builds and maintenance of website, social medial and mobile platforms. In addition, you should have experience in setting analytics and measurement framework to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns.

Also, being in a role that involves a high amount of interface and communications functions, possessing excellent project management, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite. You should also be able to manage critical relationships with multiple parties (partners, internal stakeholders, agencies etc.)
