Responsibilities
As Manager, Human Resource (HR) in the Corporate Services and Development Division, you will lead and oversee the unit in managing all aspects of the HR functions pertaining to the attraction, development, engagement, performance management and retention of human capital in the Council for Private Education (CPE).


Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing and monitoring in-scope administrative work pertaining to employee’s life cycle e.g. joining, confirmation, redeployment, employee contract administration, cessation of services etc by working closely with our parent Ministry
• Working closely with Senior Management to develop and implement HR policies and guidelines
• Developing and managing organisation’s overall manpower plan to ensure that staffing needs are addressed and smooth succession planning is in place
• Developing a robust and integrated talent management framework
• Handling employee’s HR requests and queries e.g. in-camp training deferment, certification letters and update of employee data
• Overseeing HR programmes such as annual appraisal, salary review, promotion exercises, manpower planning and organisation restructure
• Preparing data and coordinating timelines for HR cycle

Requirements

• A good local university degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant work areas
• Strong in analytical and writing skills and an effective team player
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multi-task and work independently, and respond quickly to changing needs and priorities and work efficiently under tight deadlines and pressure
