We are seeking dynamic and talented individuals with passion for the tourism and service sector to be part of our team.
Responsibilities

You will be part of the team that focuses on the three Industry Design pillars of Talent, Technology and Service. As part of capability development, you will work closely with the industry, business owners, think-tanks, academia and associations on various programmes.

First and foremost, you will be formulating strategies and implementing initiatives to promote tourism as a career and deepen talent engagement. To support the projected growth of tourism contribution to Singapore’s GDP, you will collaborate with tourism stakeholders and government agencies to ensure that education (pre-employment and continuing) remains highly responsive to market needs.

You will also play a key role in facilitating the adoption of technology and innovation to enhance Singapore’s competitiveness in tourism. Not only will you be involved in high-impact, broad-based projects that spark process-optimisation and raises visitors’ experience, you will also be championing the development of fund enablers to catalyse the growth of tourism players.

Lastly, representing STB as one of the agencies in the GEMS UP movement, you will be responsible for the creative use of multiple platforms, including new media, to showcase the service industry and also to enhance the culture of service appreciation in Singapore.

Requirements

You should have a degree from a recognised university, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are important, as well as experience in project management. The ability to work methodically, independently and meet timelines is critical.
