Human Capital works closely with other clusters in PSD to plan, formulate and implement human capital policies and organisational development initiatives so as to build and foster a motivated workforce that would help achieve PSD’s mission and strategic goals. It also oversees organisational excellence and staff engagement efforts.

With one of PSD’s roles being the central HR agency for the Civil Service, it is also involved in the designing, development and piloting of new HR initiatives for the Civil Service.

Responsibilities

• Look into organisational development issues to ensure that the PSD is able to respond nimbly to changes and move cohesively towards our Mission and Value Proposition
• Help formulate and implement plans to facilitate organisational change and improve processes and services
• Engage officers at all levels to help them understand the PSD’s Mission and Value Proposition to create a strong sense of identity and culture in PSD
• Drive organisational excellence (OE) within PSD through the promotion and implementation of OE initiatives such as benchmarking, knowledge management and innovation

Requirements

• A good degree with a basic appreciation and understanding of organisational development/change management models and interventions
• A basic knowledge of OE initiatives and frameworks (SQA, ISO and PD) would be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated, independent and a good team player
