Responsibilities

• Managing security contracts including calling, evaluating and awarding contracts to security firms
• Supervise, monitor and improve the performance of security guards at all NLB premises
• Plan and undertake security audits, systematic checks and carry out inspections to ensure all security systems, services
• and technologies are well maintained and fully operational
• Plan, co-ordinate and manage security arrangements for VIP visits/events at NLB premises
• Plan, manage and implement the integrated security systems for new and upgrading libraries/offices
• Monitor and track NLB-wide security integration and maintenance contracts
• Compile and maintain database on security equipment maintenance, servicing and repair costs
• Manage Testing & Commissioning of systems
• Manage and ensure that the card access and security systems are updated, serviced and well maintained
• Conduct annual review of the card access/CCTV policies and ensure proper documentation of the security card access system is recorded
• Responsible for the overall security systems, incident management, budget and submission of reports
• Assist to develop and implement an overall NLB BCM programme, methodologies and maintain them for an effective
• continuity system
• Represent NLB in the IDA/Safety & Security Watch Group for all emergencies/crisis management incidents/reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Building or Engineering field
• Preferably with at least 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in managing security systems, projects and guards
• Have good communication and management skills
• A team player who is able to work independently
