Our services include printing, plotting, copying, scanning, computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) and CADD training. The company’s current staff strength is 140, of which 80% are CAD Engineers. ACE’s clientele is made up of renowned local and MNC engineering consultants and construction companies. ACE handles many LTA mass rapid transport systems, road works, water reclamation, shipbuilding, oil and gas, commercial and public housing and numerous other mega-infrastructural design and as-built projects. ACE has trained many of its staff into highly-skilled CAD professionals capable of handling challenging CADD assignments in disciplines such as Architecture, Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Piping, Chemical, Plant and Shipping Design.
On account of ACE’s 16 years of experience in CADD drafting and training, Autodesk Inc. appointed ACE to become their Authorised Training and Certification Centre. ACE has also joined Bentley Systems Inc.’s academic program for Microstation education.
ACE’s CADD staff have become highly sought-after by the industries and many of its ex-employees are now key players in the CADD arena of this region.
With a successful track record and market recognition for providing CADD drafting support and training, ACE has set up ACE Industrial Academy to specialise in providing CADD training. Successful applicants will receive training in CADD skills at ACE Industrial Academy and will be conferred a skills-Diploma in CADD after completing two years’ training and industrial attachment.

Responsibilities:
CADD Professional Traineeship Programme Description
- To sign a 2-year traineeship agreement (Singaporeans and SPRs only) with us.
- 3 months’ training (1 month classroom; 2 months in-house hands-on CADD projects) conducted by professional CADD lecturers, senior CADD staff and experienced practitioners from AEC industries.
- Our training covers some of the most progressive and widely-used software in the AEC industries, including AutoCAD and Microstation. Training shall cover several disciplines. (M&E, Civil/Structural, Architectural etc.)
- CADD Trainees will get an opportunity to work on various live projects at our client’s offices with due consideration given to their skills and background during the 2-year contract.
- Trainees are paid Fixed Monthly Component (FMC) during the initial training period. The Variable Monthly Component (VMC) is payable for successful industrial attachment.
- After completion of the 2-year contract, trainees receive a gratuity of up to S$5,000, depending on their conduct and performance.
- If successfully recommended by us to join our client as their direct staff at the end of the 2-year contract, trainees are entitled to a one-off payment equivalent to 20% of the transfer fees paid to us by their future employer, if there are any negotiated. Transfer fees may range from S$5,000 to S$12,000 depending on the trainee’s performance.
- Good classroom learning environment during theory training and in-house on-job training.
Requirements:
- Only Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents need apply.
- Applicants must have strong interest in CADD (not required to be experienced in CADD), willing to work hard and have good learning attitude.
- Fresh graduates and mid-career switchers across a range of engineering disciplines are welcome.
- Minimum Qualifications for Trainee CADD Engineer: Diploma in Engineering/ Architecture
- Minimum Qualifications for Trainee CADD Operator: NITEC in Engineering/ Architecture
- Background or an educational qualification in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Piping, Mechanical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering and Plant or Shipping Design is preferred.
