Responsibilities

• You will plan electrical power requirements and innovative systems for new or upgraded business parks and industrial estates; as well as liaise and coordinate with EMA, PowerGrid and other system providers for the construction of substations and installation of smart systems in the estates. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work with building consultants on innovative solutions for new buildings and retrofitting of existing JTC facilities and work with our partners and research institutes on construction-related projects that promote energy efficiency. You will seek to improve space planning of M&E systems to optimise building efficiency in JTC facilities as well as provide support to customers on the same. You will also provide electrical engineering consultancy to the Facility Operations department to perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and review the testing process, procedure and performance measurement of JTC’s electrical and other building systems.

Requirements

• An honours degree in Electrical or Power Engineering. Those with experience as building consultants in design and construction supervision are welcome to apply. You should preferably have 3 to 8 years of relevant professional work experience recognised for registration as a Professional Engineer (Electrical) by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore. A positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills would be an added advantage.
