Responsibilities
- Responsible for a broad array of IP functions including strategic identification of IP opportunities; collaborative conceptualisation and development of IP with internal business units.
- Management of negotiations, agreements and interpretations of business arrangements (and agreements) to safeguard SSC’s IP.
- Analysis of third party IP intelligence and evaluation of third party IP rights, legal opinions and potential impact on operations.
- Guidance on intellectual property strategies; and the management and maintenance of SSC’s IP portfolio as it pertains to related corporate strategies.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Life Sciences or Engineering with at least 5 years of IP experience in overall management of IP functions.
- Proven record of sound legal and business judgement, ability to identify opportunities.
- Passion for sports and good understanding of the sports business or industry.
