Responsibilities

You will lead a team to oversee and manage the facilities and commercial activities in the Singapore Botanic Garden.
You will be responsible to manage the tenants, venue utilization and venue services to create a positive and memorable experience for the clients and their guests. You will work with partners to create a vibrant calendar of events and programmes in the Gardens.
You will work with users, contractors and relevant authorities to inspect and maintain the functionality, safety and cleanliness of the Gardens’ facilities and infrastructure. You will also be involved in the planning and execution of preventive measures, servicing and repair, and improvement works.
You will ensure the Gardens’ compliance with fire safety regulations and work with the operator to manage the car parking in the Gardens.
You will provide support to the Gardens’ programme and initiatives to be environmentally friendly.

Requirements

A recognised degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other equivalent qualification, with minimum 6 years of related working experiences
Service oriented, resourceful, pro-active and meticulous
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent management and organization skills
Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Conversant with current Codes of Practice, requirements of regulatory authorities and building regulations an advantage
