MAS officers can look forward to playing an active role in formulating and implementing our monetary policy, managing Singapore's official foreign reserves, or in supervising, regulating and developing the banking, insurance, securities and futures industries. They also play important roles in developing strategies in partnership with the private sector to promote Singapore as an international financial centre.
Responsibilities

You will work alongside senior officers in MAS in handling corporate licence applications and lodgements as well as matters related to appointed representatives of financial institutions. You will have opportunities to interact with financial institutions and assist with their queries. You will have responsibility for data management, database maintenance, and report generation. You will also assist in data analysis and monitoring regulatory returns, and participate in regular and ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

  • GCE ‘A’ level, or preferably a Diploma holder
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details
  • Possesses initiative and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Internet search
