The Singapore Medical Council (SMC), a statutory board under the Ministry of Health, that maintains the Register of Medical Practitioners in Singapore, administers the compulsory continuing medical education (CME) program and also governs and regulates the professional conduct and ethics of registered medical practitioners.


Responsibilities

• Prepares policy papers and circulars related to medical registration
• Handles circulation of medical practitioners’ applications for Council’s approval
• Liaises with external parties for medical registration matters
• Provides Secretariat support to Credentials Committee

Requirements

• Degree with at least 5 years of working experience in administrative field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Team-player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Proactive, meticulous and ability to multi-task and handles tight deadlines
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
