Responsibilities

• You will join a highly committed and imaginative team that aims to strengthen the competitiveness and global linkages of Singapore-based companies using international trade tools. In this critical and exciting role, you will be involved in the utilization and refinement of trade and other economic agreements with the aim of ensuring that they enhance the preferential edge of Singapore-based companies. With a clear understanding of our national agenda, you will actively engage with companies to understand their business models, facilitate the resolution of trade and other cross-border issues and identify gaps in Singapore's trade agreements and policies to translate them into tangible benefits for the Singapore economy.

Requirements

• To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:
• A good Honours degree, preferably in Economics or related disciplines
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to engage and influence the key decision makers in both the private and public sector
• Attention to details and an ability to synthesize information and conceptualise ideas through creative and logical thinking
• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
