Responsibilities

You will implement state-of-the-art communications in satellite communications, mobile communications, data links, radio communications, and other wireless communications systems as well as network management and modelling & simulation of communications protocols and networks.
You will be involved in the full spectrum of acquisition management activities, involving front-end engineering design & operations analysis, tendering & contract evaluation, system trials, systems engineering & integration, and system acceptance testing & commissioning.
You will need to direct and liaise with all relevant internal and external parties to ensure timely completion and implementation of project in line with customers' requirements, schedule and budget.
You will also work in system management to manage the operations & support and maintenance of communications systems in the SAF to provide cost effective and innovative solutions to sustain and upgrade the system performance, reliability and availability.

Requirements

Good Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (with major in communications)
Dynamic personality and innovative mind
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated with a positive attitude
Strong interest in wireless communications

Additional requirements for position of Senior Engineer (Comms)

At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a specific area
